Suffered from bad editing and shaky hand cameras, but was otherwise fantastic, engaging and enjoyable.

Johnny Depp and Christian Bale are off the charts. Johnny Depp almost made me cry at one point, which I kind of don't do in public theatres. Phenomenal. Christian Bale's accent prowess is a little alarming. Plus he's made of awesome. Also, he needed tighter pants, just saying. Damn 30's style suits.

One of the peeps I was with got like an hour and a half into the movie before going..."Is that BATMAN?"

Hee.

It was definitely slow in parts, and considering the length of the film, they could definitely have cut some of the long dramatic pauses.

Anyway, I enjoyed it very much. I want one of those cars in the worst way. Maybe I could buy an old cab from Edinburgh or London.

ETA: Bale gets the icon love cause he got robbed on the movie poster. ;)
