I flew into Detroit on Friday night and my mom and her boyfriend met me at the airport. We drove to Ann Arbor and had dinner with our friend Peter who graduated from Law School this weekend.

After dinner, my friend fedzgurl91 came to get me, and we went back to her house to watch BSG. Except we missed the first 20 minutes or so, so we ended up hanging out for the replay of it later in the night.

Saturday we got breakfast and then went down for the graduation ceremony. It was short and sweet and a small graduating class being a relatively small law school. There was drama surrounding the Benefactor of the school being a jackass and it made for a lot of comments and tension that we didn't get until later when it was explained to us what was going on.

After the ceremony, we bailed on their reception and went instead to see Prince Caspian. Which was AWESOME. Then we went to a steak house for dinner, which was delicious. Jessi came to get me again, and we had a pirate party. There was rum cake, and I wore my Pirate hat. We managed to get through an entire bottle of Captain Morgan Tattoo in record time, and I ended up taking a cab back to the hotel at around 330 in the morning.

My mom and her boyfriend woke up at 5 am to get ready to leave for their flight at 920, they had to leave early cause they had to check the rental car back in and everything. I thankfully fell right back asleep after they left and slept until 10, but was still pretty useless for most of the day. I went to lunch with Peter and his wife and a couple of his law school friends, and then went back over to Jessi's. We were all needing a bit of recovery, so we pretty much laid around and watched Firefly and it was spectacular. We went to an Irish Pub for dinner and then they drove me to the airport, where the check-in line was ridiculously long.

The flight was otherwise uneventful though. I got home at 1130 or so, and PS I'm still exhausted. But it was such a great weekend! I had so much fun!

Next weekend: VEGAS! :D
