Random photos from Kentucky.

Before we get into the depths of the Kentucky Distillery experience, here are a bunch of silly things we saw while in Louisville and Bardstown.


Lynn's Paradise Cafe, where we had a spectacular breakfast.




They had a bucket of toys.


And another of crayons.


When the moth people take over, the dinosaurs will be the first enslaved.


It is, of course, the MOST AWESOME FLEA MARKET IN THE WORLD!!


Random chicken. Also, the nostalgia of near three dollars a gallon is sort of hurting my soul.




Wonder if its bigger on the inside?

Isn't that the place where you had chorizo for breakfast? Or was it somewhere else in the bible belt?

The chorizo place was called Toast on Market, and was in downtown Louisville. I dont remember exactly what I had at Lynn's, it might have been Eggs Benedict. It was freaking delicious though, whatever it was. That part, I remember. ;)

It was the was the Kentucky Farmhouse Scramble topped with fried tobacco onions, served with fried green tomatoes, biscuits, and cheesy grits.

And it was good....and fattening....and good.

Tis not my memory, but my pen and paper. I posted about it to the masses at my site, most of whom were abhorred at the thought of deep fried foods.

I stayed in Shepardsville right by there for work when they sent me to Ft. Knox. And no, it's by far NOT the greatest flea market ever.

The men there however will stare at you with creepy looks.
