Oatlands Plantation
On Rte 15 South, about 5 miles out of Leesburg, is Oatlands Plantation. I found it because my friend ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
helbnt and his daughter did a dramatized reading of "A Christmas Carol" in the carriage house, and we decided to go back later to check out the main house.
Of course, this is actually the carriage house. As evidenced by the sign. ;)

Botanical Gardens
The day after Christmas, we went down to DC to see the National Christmas Trees.
And it rained. And rained. And it was cold. And windy.
So we went inside the Botanical Gardens instead. It turned out to be really cool, and they had lovely decorations everywhere, including all of the DC monuments and important buildings recreated out of wood.
It was so cool!

Belated Holiday Cheer.
Hopefully by now all the credit cards are paid off, and everyone is over the Post-Holiday-Blues.
I never got round to putting these up until now, but I think they're nice, and that people will enjoy them. ;)
